NDDSVC’s training, technical assistance, legal assistance, grant management, and advocacy and prevention support services are vital to crisis centers. These services allow crisis centers to focus on survivor safety, prevention services, and community collaboration.

With every donation, NDDSVC is able to:

Provide training and technical assistance to domestic violence and sexual assault advocates to make sure that victims are given the best possible support.

Write and advocate for legislation that protects victims and holds offenders accountable.

Publish and distribute brochures and other educational materials so that victims have resources in their hands the moment they seek help.

Provide training to partners in law enforcement, health care, the legal system, and more to create professional networks that provide victims with confidential, trauma-informed support.

Coordinate events and campaigns to raise awareness about domestic and sexual violence.
